It is the second time in a short period of time that I receive a chain letter or one of those text emails that tells you that God will grant you whatever prize if you send that chain letter to another 5 people or 20 people, a lot of believers feel they should go ahead and send the chain letter/text/email and continue it for different reasons; because they want the goodies, because they feel obligated, and if for some reason the letter hints a little on a threat they will send it out of fear even though the letter may have bothered them; they will send it, specially if they do need money, health or whatever they are promised on the letter. This letters although it can may some people feel good (as one did me) can breed fear or superstition and in the very least it annoys some people and it might bind the recipient (pun intended). Most of this letters include suppossibly either a message from God or some mention of the devil and like I say they just breed fear and superstition.
The positive message of being well inspired me to start this blog in the hopes that it may make someone feel good, in the hopes that it may give someone hope or perhaps even faith.
I have no problem with a positive message or thoughtful wish without conditions such as "send this to another 20 people."
At the time of this writing it's been a bit over a day since I got a little bit of bad news, you could call it a bit of a scare and a wake up call, then I got one of such chain letters that has to do with healing (Hence why it made me feel good) but also it came with conditions. So I decided to write about God's Word about Healing, it has no conditions such as "send this to 20 people". God does want the best for us and to live healthy lives and the only way I can back this up is with scripture:
If you have ever felt like God put some sort of sickness or disease on you you are wrong! Did Jesus ever put sickness on anyone? No!
So let's start with stablishing who Jesus is with scripture:
John 14:9-10New International Version (NIV)
9 Jesus answered: “Don’t you know me, Philip, even after I have been among you such a long time? Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father. How can you say, ‘Show us the Father’?10 Don’t you believe that I am in the Father, and that the Father is in me? The words I say to you I do not speak on my own authority. Rather, it is the Father, living in me, who is doing his work.
Jesus is the will of God in action.
John 6:38
38 For I have come down from heaven not to do my will but to do the will of him who sent me.
Acts 10:38
38 how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and power, and how he went around doing good and healing all who were under the power of the devil, because God was with him.
So not once in the Bible did Jesus made anyone sick, on the contrary he went about healing the sick, and every time He healed someone He said "your faith has healed you" Jesus is all about healing.
When we are oppressed by A negative force, an ailment, or anything dark it does not come from God as some people assign blame, we blame God for storms, catastrophes, sickness etc. when it is a negative force or what most people call the devil or satan and demons.
2 Corinthians 4:4,5,6
The god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the gospel that displays the glory of Christ, who is the image of God. 5 For what we preach is not ourselves, but Jesus Christ as Lord, and ourselves as your servants for Jesus’ sake. 6 For God, who said, “Let light shine out of darkness,”[a] made his light shine in our hearts to give us the light of the knowledge of God’s glory displayed in the face of Christ.
But I don't want to get to preachy or of the subject, the way it boils down without a huge theological teaching is like this:
God gives Adam the authority on Earth, Adam sold us out to the devil when he sinned, Satan became the "god" of this world with dominion over the earth but not forever Jesus has conquered.
Jesus has conquered death, and he sent the Holy Spirit to dwell IN us, the very Spirit of God in us. Now let's go back to the book of Acts 10:38
Acts 10:38

With the sacrifice that God has made in Jesus we are saved! There are many scriptures that back this up. Here is one of them:
Mark 16:15,116,17,18
15 He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation. 16 Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned. 17 And these signs will accompany those who believe: In my name they will drive out demons; 18..... they will place their hands on sick people, and they will get well.
So, to rap it up, God has provided through Jesus. We are to be well and if we are oppressed financially He will provide, and if our health is oppressed we will heal!
It is God's will for us to heal.
No need for chain letters that may bind you (pun intended) maybe we can send a message of encouragement to someone without the condition that they have to send it to 20 other people in exchange for some favor. Chain letters lead to doubt and fear and frankly their annoying. So have faith no harm will come to you if you don't send that chain letter and if you feel the need to share something, share the Gospel, share Scripture or just tell people that: God's will is for ALL to heal.
We are already loved and saved and we are not saved because of what we do, we are saved by Grace through faith. That is the will of God.
In He's amazing grace, It is God's will for us to heal.
